Refund Policy

At Buildiverse, we’re committed to offering high-quality building sets that inspire creativity, durability, and off-screen play. We know that sometimes a product may not be exactly what you expected, so we aim to keep the return process clear and hassle-free.

Return Window

We offer a 30-day return policy. You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return — even if the product has been used.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • The item should be returned in its original condition as much as reasonably possible.
  • All pieces, components, and included accessories must be sent back.

How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at hello@buildiverse.shop.

Include the following information in your email:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for the return and any feedback on how we can improve

Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (incorrect, damaged, or defective items).
  • Once you request a return, we will email you the return shipping cost for your approval.
  • After you approve, we will send you a link or instructions to complete the return process.
  • The agreed return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund once we receive and inspect the item.

Please note:

  • Delays caused by customs, local postal services, or courier issues are outside our control and are not valid grounds for a refund request.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or in the wrong variant, we will cover all return shipping costs. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery to report any issues.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved or denied.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 7 business days (minus the agreed return shipping cost, if applicable).
  • Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an item for a different variant, color, or product, please email us at hello@buildiverse.shop.

If your exchange is approved:

  • We will send you an invoice for return shipping and any price differences between items.
  • After payment, you’ll receive a link or instructions to register the return (selecting “Exchange” where applicable).
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue store credit so you can place a new order for your preferred item.

Return Denials

Buildiverse reserves the right to refuse returns that:

  • Do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy
  • Are sent back without prior approval
  • Are shipped outside the 30-day return window
  • Are sent to an address different from the one provided in our return instructions

Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged product, please contact us immediately at hello@buildiverse.shop.

We will provide further instructions and arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you, where applicable.

Order Modification / Cancellation

Our fulfillment team often begins processing orders shortly after they are placed. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to modify or cancel your order once it has been submitted.

If you need to change or cancel your order:

  • If your order has not yet shipped, we will do our best to assist you.
